In 1996 Roberta opened her first bazaar inspired store selling one-of-a-kind accessories in an Upper East Side brownstone off Manhattan’s Madison Avenue. As her line continued to expand and word of her unique designs spread, she outgrew her boutique beginnings and in 2005 moved to a historic two story building on East 70th Street. This strategic retail move marked a new era in Roberta’s world.

Her eponymous shop in Manhattan became the go-to destination for chic, eclectic designs. The next summer Roberta opened her second location in East Hampton followed by stores in Palm Beach and the newest addition in San Francisco. The Roberta Freymann collection is also sold in exclusive boutiques such as India Hicks’ The Sugar Mill on Harbour Island, Marcie Bond in the Bahamas, Erica Wilson on Nantucket, Katydid in Martha’s Vineyard and Castiglion Del Bosco in Montalcino, Italy.

Inspired by her love for global marketplaces, the collection is awash in a tapestry of color and texture. The line features women’s ready-to-wear, outerwear, jewelry and accessories all designed and discovered by Roberta in partnership with local artisans from the Near East and Far East to South America and Europe. Roberta’s passion to experience the world and exacting eye for style is embodied in the designs and bohemian spirit of the Roberta Freymann collection.
