Wood block printing--a style of printing where a design is applied to voile cotton by hand with intricately carved wooden blocks dipped in colored ink--was developed in Rajasthan India in the 18th century, particularly the regional center of Jaipur. To this day Jaipur remains the center of this art form and we are incredibly fortunate to use it as the main center of our production--many of the craftsmen in our studios have had this technique passed down to them from generations of their forebearers. The jaroka pattern embodies the epitome of this style--geometric patterns of the utmost symmetry belie the flowing softness inherent in this design; a design that recollects the famous mausoleums of the Mughal era--none more famous than the Taj Mahal itself.

The Logan tunic features three button plaquette and a shirt collar.
