This traditional technique of tie dyeing originates from Japan, and creates wispy stripe patterns which mimic the soft rays of light cast over the horizon during sunrise and sunset. Our Magee kaftan features rope sleeves with wooden beads and tassels - it has been strip dip dyed to create a streaked and beautiful watercolor effect.
