Roberta Freymann Collection

In 1996 Roberta opened her first bazaar inspired store selling one-of-a-kind accessories in an Upper East Side brownstone off Manhattan’s Madison Avenue.  As her line continued to expand and word of her unique designs spread, she outgrew her boutique beginnings and in 2005 moved to a historic two story building on East 70th Street.  This strategic retail move marked a new era in Roberta’s world.

Her eponymous shop in Manhattan became the go-to destination for stylish, eclectic pieces.  The next summer Roberta opened her second location in East Hampton and most recently opened her third store in San Francisco.  Additionally, in 2012 the company re-launched their e-commerce site introducing her namesake collection online. The Roberta Freymann collection is also sold in exclusive boutiques such as India Hicks’ The Sugar Mill on Harbour Island, Marcie Bond in the Bahamas, Erica Wilson on Nantucket, Katydid in Martha’s Vineyard and Castiglion Del Bosco in Montalcino, Italy.

Inspired by her love for global marketplaces, the collection is awash in a tapestry of color and texture.  The line features women's apparel, outerwear, jewelry and accessories all designed and discovered by Roberta in partnership with local artisans from the Near East and Far East to South America and Europe. Often described as boho-chic and “of-the-moment,” the Roberta Freymann collection offers high-end, one-of-a-kind designs. Using the finest fabrications and hand craftsmanship, the line takes a more fashion forward approach and offers a sophistication appreciated by the “city woman.” Roberta’s passion to experience the world and exacting eye for style is embodied in the designs and bohemian spirit of the Roberta Freymann collection.

Roberta Roller Rabbit

Roberta Roller Rabbit, an offshoot of Roberta Freymann’s namesake label, was inspired by a fable of a magical rabbit that Roberta found on a piece of discarded fabric in India.  Launched in 2003, with a collection of colorful hand block printed kurtas, the relaxed, resort-inspired line has evolved into a lifestyle brand offering a plethora of products which include clothing for men, women, and children, as well as accessories and home furnishings.

In 2006, Roberta opened her first Roberta Roller Rabbit store on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.  Today the new flagship can be found in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood along with stores in Southampton, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Marin, San Francisco, Greenwich, Punta Del Este in Uruguay, and most recently in Dallas.  Additionally, in 2009 the company launched the e-commerce site satisfying fans countrywide. The collection is also available in a host of exclusive boutiques including India Hicks’ The Sugar Mill on Harbour Island, Marcie Bond in the Bahamas, Erica Wilson on Nantucket, Katydid in Martha’s Vineyard and Castiglion Del Bosco in Montalcino, Italy.

Roberta Roller Rabbit immerses customers in a delightful world of colors, prints and textures.  Each store offers a range of hand block printed pieces created and produced by Roberta with artisans in India.  Graphic and floral prints are named after characters in Roberta’s life. Other wildly popular prints include monkeys, elephants and fish which capture Roberta’s love for children and complete the signature whimsical spirit that has become synonymous to the brand.
